2009 BMW 735d

BMW has announced that the 2009 BMW 735d will soon make its public debut. The 735d will be powered by a new 3.0 liter diesel engine (4% more efficient than its predecessor) that generates 225 kW/306 hp and 600 Nm of torque at 1500 rpm. Apart from that, the company will also debut a new 3.0 liter Twin Turbo engine in October, which will be found on their new BMW 5 Series Gran Tursimo. This new engine is capable of producing 225 kW/306 hp and 400 Nm of torque between 1200 and 5000 rpm. The engine itself will be mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission. [Zercustoms]
