
Nissan has recently unveiled their upcoming electric car namely the Nissan LEAF. Claimed as the world’s first affordable zero-emission vehicle, the LEAF is equipped with laminated lithium-ion batteries, which generate power output of over 90kW, while its electric motor delivers 80kW and 280Nm. The car has a driving range of more than 160km (100 miles) on one full charge. The Nissan LEAF is expected to be launched in late 2010 in Japan, United States and Europe for unannounced price yet.
