by Isaiah on April 30, 2010

The all-new 2011 Hyundai Avante (Elantra) has just been unveiled at the Busan International Motor Show 2010 in South Korea. This compact sedan comes with a number of advanced features not found on other compacts, including HID (high Intensity Discharge) headlamps, LED combination lamps in the rear, heated rear seats, puddle lamps and a color TFT LCD information display nestled in the gauge cluster. Underneath, power comes from a new 1.6-liter Gamma GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) engine paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission that produces 140 hp and 166Nm of peak torque. Hyundai will begin sales of the Avante in the second half of 2010 in Korea.
