by Joe on July 30, 2010

Alfa Romeo has rolled out a special edition version of its GT compact coupe for the Japanese market in order to celebrate the brand’s 100th anniversary. Dubbed as the Alfa Romeo GT Quadrifoglio d’Oro Special Edition, the coupe comes with special gold badging, 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in beefier 225/40 tires, red brake calipers and chrome trim on the front bumper. Additional features include leather sports seats, aluminum sports pedals and sports dials with a red background. Priced at 3,850,000 Yen or around $44,300, the Alfa Romeo GT Quadrifoglio d’Oro Special Edition is powered by the 166-horsepower (Japan-spec) 2.0-liter JTS petrol engine linked to Alfa’s 5-speed automated Selespeed transmission.
