Aston Martin Will Release Cygnet In 2011

Aston Martin has confirmed that they will release the Toyota iQ-based Cygnet in 2011. The Cygnet is Aston Martin’s answer to increasingly stringent fuel economy and emissions standards. It is powered by a 1.33-liter petrol engine with 97hp (72kW / 98PS) and 91lb-ft (123Nm) of torque. This should enable the car to get a combined 55 mpg (UK) and emit 120 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Stay tuned for more updates. [WorldCarFans]
