Audi has unveiled the third member of the ‘e-tron’ concept family that was applied on Audi’s brand new A1 premium supermini. This green car uses a front-mounted electric motor producing 102HP and 240Nm to drive the wheels with a 254cc single-rotor Wankel engine that runs at 5,000 rpm. The A1 e-tron weighs at just 1,190 kilograms (2,623.50 lb) and accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 10.2 seconds. It has a top speed of 81mph. [Zimbio]
