
Sportec has unveiled their latest performance package for the Audi RS3 Sportback. Under the hood, the 2.5-liter turbocharged five cylinder engine has been upgraded to produce 408PS and 550Nm (an increase of 68PS and 100Nm). This hatchback is also equipped with a loud stainless steel sports exhaust system, a fully adjustable coilover suspension, a high-performance Movit brake system and a set of 20-inch light alloy wheels fitted with performance tires. Audi has unveiled more details about the 2012 Audi S8. The sedan is powered by a 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine with a 8-speed S Tronic transmission. This engine configuration produces a 520-hp with a 479 lb-ft of torque. The 2012 Audi S8 is able to accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 155mph. [egmCarTech]

Audi is set to unleash their newest super economical hatchback ‘A1 1.6 TDI’ in Australia in November. To be available only in Attraction trim level, this three-door hatch will be powered by a 1.6-liter TDI petrol/diesel engine (w/ either a five-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch S tronic transmission) that produces 66kW of power and 230Nm of torque. The petrol-powered Attraction models will be priced from $29,900 for the manual and $32,250 for the S tronic. [Car Advice]

MTM has rolled out their newest performance package for the Audi RS3 Sportback. The car is equipped with a new power upgrade kit which consists of a new turbocharger, a new sport exhaust system and an ECU re-map. Having this new power upgrade kit, the 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine of the RS3 can now produce 472PS and 600Nm of torque (an increase of 132PS and 150Nm), allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds (0.5 faster than stock) with a top speed of 292 km/h. Audi has finally unveiled the R8 e-Tron prototype at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This prototype features a ventilated hood, a revised grille and additional carbon fiber accents. This electric car is powered by four electric motors and a 53 kWh lithium-ion battery, producing 313PS (230kW/308hp) and 4,500Nm (3,319lb-ft) of torque.
