
German tuner ABT Sportsline has unveiled an aftermarket program for the Audi Q3, which offers an increased horsepower output for the 2-liter engines, together with a new body kit. In terms of aerodynamics, the ABT Audi Q3 kit consists of a new front skirt and grille, side skirts, a rear bumper with integrated exhaust pipes and a roof wing. Under the hood, ABT Sportsline will offer a variety of power kits for both diesel and petrol engines. For the diesel Audi Q3 2.0 TDI, ABT offers two power upgrade kits: one for the 140hp version which increases the output to 170hp (125kW), and one for the 177hp model which raises the output to 195hp (143kW). The ABT Audi Q3 2.0 TSI is available with either 210hp (154kW), when based on the factory 170hp model, or 250hp (184kW) when based on the standard 211hp version. [CarScoop]

Audi today issued the first sketches and details of the new Urban Concept. Audi’s Urban Concept features free-standing wheels, with surrounding protective plates that integrate LED lights strips. The two passengers of the Urban concept are sitting very low and sporty position inside the car, and the driver is able to adjust the steering wheel and pedals to fit his stature. The roof of the Urban concept is designed to slide to the rear when opened to allow access inside. This means that the passengers are actually entering the concept through its tailgate. The cockpit of the Urban concept is built from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer and integrates the undercarriage of both seats. Audi has finally announced the US price for their upcoming 2012 Audi TT-RS. This compact coupe is priced at $56,850 (excluding destination charges, taxes, title, options and dealer charges). As a reminder, this sports car is equipped with a 2.5-liter TFSI turbocharged engine (w/ six-speed manual transmission) that generates a total of 360 hp. [Autoevolution]

The Audi TT-RS Limited Edition S Tronic will make its debut at the Australian International Motor Show. With only 45 units being made for the Australian market, the Audi TT RS features the 7-speed S tronic transmission, allowing the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The seventh gear is configured as a high-geared overdrive reducing engine speed at highway speeds, allowing the TT RS to consume an average of 8.5l/100km using the European combined cycle, and emit 197 g/km of CO2. The all new 2012 Audi A1 1.6 TDI has just been introduced by Audi. This super economical hatchback offers a combined fuel consumption figure of 74.3 mpg and CO2 emissions of 99g/km. 0 to 100 km/h takes 10.5 seconds and the top speed is rated at 190 km/h. The 2012 Audi A1 1.6 TDI will be available in three different trim levels including SE, Sport and S with prices ranging from 14,480 GBP (about $23,233) to 17,865 GBP (about $28,664). [AR]

Audi has issued a promotional video for the new R8 GT Spyder. The sports car comes with a 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine with an output of 412kW (560PS/ 552bhp) and 540Nm (398.28 lb-ft) of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 317 km/h (196.97 mph).
