Here we have a new on the road video of the 2012 Renault Koleos. To refresh your memory, this facelifted version of the Renault Kaleos comes with new headlights, a larger single frame grille with chrome accents plus a redesigned bumper, fenders and hood. Under the hood, Renault offers three different engine options including a 2.0-liter diesel with 150 hp, a 2.0-liter diesel with 175 hp and a 2.5-liter petrol with 170 hp. Here comes another compact city car from Skoda, the Citigo. This fuel-efficient vehicle is available in two different engine options including a 1.0-liter three-cylinder unit with 60PS and 95Nm of torque and a 1.0-liter three-cylinder unit with 75PS and 95Nm of torque. Each engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The car also offers a combined fuel consumption figure of 65.7 mpg and 67.3 mpg, respectively, and CO2 emissions of just 97g/km and 99g/km, respectively. The 2012 Skoda Citigo will make its debut in its domestic market, the Czech Republic, before the end of this year. [AR]
Subaru is planning on bringing their newest compact SUV ’2012 Subaru XV’ to Australia in January next year. This compact SUV will be powered by a 2.0-liter FB Boxer engine that generates 110kW of power and 196Nm of torque. In terms of transmission options, the XV will come with either a six-speed manual gearbox or Subaru’s Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). Sadly, there’s no word on pricing yet. Skoda has finally announced the Australian pricing for their upcoming Skoda Yeti. This compact SUV will come in two different engine options including a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol unit (w/ either a six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG transmission) with 77kW of power and 175Nm of torque and a 2.0-liter diesel unit (w/ either a six-speed manual or six-speed DSG) with 103kW of power and 320Nm of torque.
