BMW has updated the 2011 M3 with the start/stop technology. The benefit of this technology is reduced fuel consumption and the function can be switched on/off via a button located next to the Start/Stop button. Start-Stop is a feature developed from BMW’s EfficientDynamics strategy that will shut down the engine under certain conditions when the vehicle comes to a complete stop. In case you didn’t know, the all-new 2011 BMW M3 Frozen Gray is powered by the M3′s standard 414hp 4.0 liter V8 engine. [egmCarTech]
