General Motors has launched the first official pictures of the production-ready 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible, which is one of my dream cars. The new Camaro will enter the production stage during the first quarter of 2011, with sales set to start around April 2011. Chevrolet and its European tuning partner Irmscher have joined to create the Cruze Irmscher Edition. The car accelerates from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 8.0 seconds. The Cruze Irmscher Edition receives an optional boot lid spoiler along with 18-inch alloy wheels shod in beefier 225 sport tires and aluminum door sills. Irmscher’s performance modifications include a 25mm suspension drop and exhaust silencers with elliptical twin exits along with a 36HP and 146Nm boost for the 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine increasing total output to 186HP and 466Nm at 2,300 rpm. Chevrolet has unveiled the 2010 Camaro Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Limited Edition replica, which is based on the Camaro 2SS with the RS appearance package.
