GM today announced that they will release the Chevrolet Volt late next year in California. GM is teaming up with local utilities companies, including Pacific Gas & Electric and Southern California Edison, to make sure the state is ready for the car’s launch. Here’s a look at Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Concept which is currently on display at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. The ZR2 Concept is equipped with a 550 horsepower LS supercharged V8 crate engine and features a very aggressive carbon fiber bodywork (new front fenders, hood, fender flares, side sills and tailgate), a larger grille and 20-inch BBS RD wheels with 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler off-road tires. General Motors has decided to recall 53,000 Chevrolet Cobalt, Pontiac G5 and Saturn Ion models for a potential fuel leak problem that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says could lead to a fire.
