GM today announced that they will release the Chevrolet Volt late next year in California. GM is teaming up with local utilities companies, including Pacific Gas & Electric and Southern California Edison, to make sure the state is ready for the car’s launch. The Chevrolet Volt is an extended-range electric vehicle offering up to 40 miles of gasoline- and emissions-free electric driving. GM Daewoo’s Matiz Creative has received a four-star safety rating from the European New Car Assessment Program (EuroNCAP). This achievement is the result of the Matiz Creative’s structural enhancements combined with a full offering of active and passive safety features. Here’s a look at Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 Concept which is currently on display at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. General Motors has decided to recall 53,000 Chevrolet Cobalt, Pontiac G5 and Saturn Ion models for a potential fuel leak problem that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says could lead to a fire.
