The Citroën Survolt will make its track debut at the Le Mans Classic on July 10th, 2010. The French car maker also revealed technical details about the Survolt. Measuring just 3.85m x 1.87m x 1.2m and weighing 1,150 kg, the supermini-sized Survolt features a tubular chassis, a flat underside with an extractor and full carbon bodywork. The Survolt’s full electric drivetrain comprises of two-electric motors producing a combined output of 300-horsepower, and a pair of lithium-ion batteries weighing in at 140kg a piece. Each battery pack boasts a 31kw capacity offering a driving range of around 200km (124miles). This coupe has a top speed of 260km/h (162mph) and a 0-100km/h (0-62mph) sprint time of under five seconds. More»

The Green-i Electric Car from CHANA Auto has recently made its debut at the Beijing Auto Show. This eco-friendly car uses steer-by-wire and something called Brake Energy Regeneration, which retrieves power from the braking process to top up the car’s batteries. What makes this green car special is that it only needs 10 minutes for a full charge, which means you can really charge and go, no matter where you are. Quill Vehicle Moves On Both Snow And Land

Designed by Halil Buzcuoglu, the “Quill” is a vehicle concept that moves smoothly on both snow and land. The concept vehicle features a massive windscreen to allow an enhanced front view, while the built-in cameras provide the rear vision on the screens placed in the cockpit. GQbyCITROEN Concept Car

The GQbyCITROEN is a new concept car that is designed in partnership between Citroen and men’s magazine, GQ. The hybrid car is powered by a combination of a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. First Street-legal Electric Golf Car From Garia

Valmet Automotive and Garia have developed the Garia LSV Concept Car, which is the street-legal version of The Garia Golf Cart. This new concept car will be exhibited at the forthcoming Geneva International Motor Show. The LSV or the Low Speed Vehicle is a regular golf cart which can be driven on the streets of US as any neighborhood electric vehicle.
