
Inspired by the Alfa 8C Competizione, the Alfa MiTo is the first sporty compact from the famous Italian marque since the 1970s. Four of the five available engines are mated to a six speed gearbox. 2009 Seat Leon Twin Drive Prototype has recently made its debut at the SEAT Technical Centre in Martorell, near Barcelona. A radical new SEAT has the ability to run on an electric motor or a gasoline powered engine, hence the “Twin Drive” moniker. the car is equipped with a lithium-ion battery mated to a 35 kW (46hp) motor engine and is connected to an internal combustion engine. The all-electric mode has a range of 50 km (30 miles) with a maximum speed of 100 km/h (60 miles). Seat envisions the first production Twin Drive model will hit the European market in 2014. Created by former McLaren designer Jim Dowle, the P1-E will be the next generation of British electric sports car. The P1 will be powered by lithium-ion batteries, will reach 60mph in a claimed 2.9sec and will have a limited top speed of 130mph. The whole car will weigh 1055kg and have a range of 230 miles. The P1-E will use a four-wheel-drive system to harness the 590lb ft of torque developed by the electric motors at either end of the chassis, with combined output for the twin motors expected to be 290kW (389bhp). General Motors has officially presented its 2010 Cadillac SRX mid-size crossover SUV at the 2009 NAIAS in Detroit. The entry-level models comes with a 3.0-liter V6 engine with only 260 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque, another version of this SUV is equipped with a 2.8-liter V6 engine producing 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The famous Italian car maker has recently unveiled the facelifted version of its hot Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S supersedan at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The car is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine and producing 433 horsepower.
