Chevrolet has issued a new Corvette ZR1 commercial video. The standard/ factory version of the Corvette ZR1 is powered by a 6.2 liter LS9 V8 engine that produces 647 horsepower and 819 Nm of torque to the rear wheels. The Corvette ZR1 accelerates from 0 to 60mph in 3.4 seconds or 0 to 100 mph (160 km/h) in 7 seconds with a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h). Watch the new Corvette ZR1 commercial video after the jump. GM’s latest Transformers star, the Corvette Stingray concept, was first introduced at the 2009 Chicago Auto Show, and starring in the recently-released Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen as Autobot Sideswipe. Too bad! Someone has crashed a 2010 Chevy Camaro! This accident happened near its birthplace in Oakville, Ontario. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured in the accident, except the poor Camaro. The 2010 Buick LaCrosse luxury sedan has made its world debut at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The Buick LaCrosse offers all wheel drive, a suite of advanced intelligent personal technologies and safety features, and a choice of two fuel-saving V-6 engines. The 2010 LaCrosse will be offered in three models – CX, CXL and CXS. The first two will feature the same 3.0-liter, 255hp and 211 lb-ft V6 engine and the CXS model will come equipped with a more powerful 3.6-liter, 280hp and 261 lb-ft powerplant. GM plans to start building the 2010 Buick LaCrosse this summer. [Edmunds]
