
The all new 2011 Ford Fiesta has made its first public appearance at this month’s LA Auto Show. This small car is powered by a 1.6-liter DOHC I-4 engine with Ti-VCT that generates a total of 119 hp and 109 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the engine is paired to either a five-speed manual transmission or PowerShift six-speed automatic gearbox. Ford is set to unveil the all new 2011 Ford Mustang at next month’s Los Angeles Auto Show. This muscle car is equipped with a new 3.7-liter DOHC V-6 engine paired to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission that outputs a total of 305 hp and 280 ft. lbs of torque. The car also has fuel economy ratings of 19 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway (automatic transmission) or 18/29 (manual transmission). Ford has recently launched the all new Mondeo Titanium ECOnetic in UK. Available in either five-door hatchback or estate model, the car is equipped with optional 16-inch Y-Spoke lightweight alloy wheels or 17-inch Y-Spoke alloys, an optimum gear change indicator, aerodynamically optimized sports suspensions, air deflectors and a rear spoiler. Meanwhile, power comes from a 2.0-liter TDCi diesel engine that generates 115 hp. Prices start at £23,295 (about $38,000) for the five-door and £24,545 (about $40,000) for the estate. [AutoCar]

Ford has recently unveiled its upcoming 2011 F-Series Super Duty pickup truck model during this year’s Texas State Fair. This new pickup truck is available in two different engine options either a 6.2-liter V8 flexfuel gasoline unit or a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbocharged diesel unit. Both engines are coupled to a new 6R140 heavy-duty TorqShift six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift manual capability. Ford says that the new pickup truck features “increased towing and payload capability as well as improved ride, handling and steering feel over the outgoing Super Duty model.” [CarScoop]

Here are the first images of the new Ford Grand C-Max that will make its debut at next week’s Frankfurt Motor Show. This seven-seater will be offered in either petrol or diesel units from Focus and Kuga, as well as Ford’s new 1.6-liter EcoBoost. The car will also feature an increase in length, a sliding rear door, a redesigned greenhouse, a new and innovative interior, a four-spoke steering wheel and folding seats. Ford has introduced the next-generation C-Max, which is based on the Ford iosis MAX concept that first appeared at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The next-gen C-Max sports a range of diesel and gas engines, with the most intriguing being 1.6L EcoBoost engine.
