Honda has unveiled the pricing details for the 2012 Ridgeline. The five-passenger pickup is powered by a 3.5 liter VTEC V6 engine with a 5-speed automatic transmission, offering a 250 horsepower at 5,700 rpm and a 247 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 rpm. The 2012 Honda Ridgeline is currently available in four variants such as the Ridgeline RT, new Ridgeline Sport, Ridgeline RTS and Ridgeline RTL. The Ridgeline RT and Ridgeline Sport are priced at $29,250 and $29,995, respectively. The Ridgeline RTS is priced at $31,995, while the Ridgeline RTL retails for $34,830. [egmCarTech]
Honda will release the new Civic Type R. The new generation of Honda Civic will use a 2.0-litre turbo engine with a six-speed manual gearbox. This engine configuration allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 6.5 seconds with a top speed of about 150mph(241km/h). The Natural Gas version of the 2012 Honda Civic has just been priced in the US. This fuel efficient sedan will become available in the US from October 18th for a starting price of $26,155 (plus a $750 destination charge). Just a bit of info, the 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas is equipped with a modified version of the Civic’s 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that is paired to a five-speed automatic transmission. This city car comes with a re-styled front bumper, a new rear apron with what looks to be an integrated diffuser, darkened headlights, and new 16-inch light alloy wheels with a distinctive look. The 2012 Honda Fit Sport is powered by a 1.5-liter, i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine, with an output of 117hp at 6,600rpm and 106lb-ft. of torque at 4,800rpm, mated to either a five-speed automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual gearbox. Additional features include Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), and 10.3-inch ventilated brake discs.
