
Hyundai is ready to release the RB Concept, 2011 Elantra and Veloster sports coupe within the next year. The RB Concept will come to the United States as the next-generation Accent and will go on sale in mid-2011. At the 2010 LA Auto Show, Hyundai will unveil the redesigned Elantra. That model will be based on the recently unveiled 2011 Hyundai Avante. The company will also unveil the new front-wheel-drive Veloster sports coupe in January 2011. Hyundai today introduced the local market version of its new Sonata sedan at the Moscow motor show. The sedan will be available in a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol producing 150HP and 198Nm of torque, and a 2.4-liter four-banger rated at 178-horsepower and 228Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, with a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC manual control offered as an option.
