The 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo has been unveiled at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. It is a main competitor to the Volkswagen GTI, Honda Civic Si and Mini Cooper S. Hyundai has issued the first teaser image of the 2012 Genesis Hurricane SC coupe. The carmaker has joined with Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc. to customize this new coupe. The Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC is powered by a powerful 3.8 liter V-6 engine with a liquid to air inter-cooler, producing a total output of more than 450 HP. The car also features a revised front grille, a carbon fiber hood, new bumpers, LED headlights, a rear diffuser and 19-inch Enkei wheels wrapped in Hankook tires. Hyundai has finally announced the UK pricing for their upcoming 2012 Hyundai Veloster Coupe. Coming in both Standard and Sport trim levels, the 2012 Veloster Coupe is equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder GDI petrol engine (w/ either a 6-speed manual or dual-clutch gearbox) that produces a total of 140PS. Hyundai has begun selling their newest medium-sized wagon ‘i40 Tourer’ in Australia. Sharing its platform with the mid-sized i45 sedan, the i40 Tourer comes in three different trim levels including Active, Elite and Premium along with two different engine options: a 2.0-liter direct-injection petrol unit with 130kW of power and 213Nm of torque and a 1.7-liter diesel engine with 100kW of power and 330Nm of torque.
