
Hyundai has released the all new Santa Fe R in Australia. This 7-seat family SUV is available in three different trim levels including SLX, Elite and Highlander. Underneath, power comes from a 2.2-liter diesel engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Hyundai is going to showcase a modified model of its 2010 Genesis Coupe in Las Vegas. Dubbed as the Greddy X-Gen Street Genesis Coupe, the car will be modified in three areas including performance, handling and braking. As for the engine part, it will be upgraded to deliver 350 hp and 320 ft/lbs of torque, with such power the car can reach 0 to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds. [DieselStation]

Hyundai has officially announced that the Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec will be exhibited at next month’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Based on the 210 horsepower 2.0T Track model, the R-Spec features a track-tuned suspension, 19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes and a limited-slip differential. The Korean automaker Hyundai has unveiled the pricing details of the 2010 Hyundai Accent. The car is powered by a 1.6-liter four cylinder engine that produces 110 horsepower and 106 lb-ft of torque. The new Hyundai Accent uses a standard five-speed manual or an optional four-speed automatic. The entry-level Blue model is priced for under $10K, which is the cheapest new car available in the US market, meanwhile the least expensive version with an automatic transmission retails for $12,995. Hyundai has announced the 2011 Hyundai Sonata at a special event in Korea. Codenamed “YF”, the Korean version comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 165 horsepower and delivering 30 mpg. The North American model is powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with direct injection that produces around 200 horsepower. There is also a 3.5-liter V6 model that produces around 250 horsepower. In addition to the two U.S. models mentioned above, Hyundai will also release the Sonata Hybrid that will use lithium polymer batteries. The regular models of Sonata should start production for the U.S at Hyundai’s Alabama factory in the summer of 2010, while the Sonata Hybrid will enter production stage sometime in 2011. Beijing Hyundai has recently released its new hatchback for the Chinese market, the i30. The car is available in two different engine options: 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter. Prices ranging from 99,800 yuan ($14,615) for the base model and goes up to 141,800 yuan ($20,700) for the top of the line model.
