To celebrate Jaguar’s 75th anniversary and Jaguar’s historic return to Le Mans, the company will launch the Jaguar XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition in Australia. Limited to just 10 units, the car will be available in Indigo Blue, Ultimate Black and Liquid Silver color options, and feature 20-inch Kalimnos alloy wheels, chrome tailpipe finishers, chrome side power vents, Bright Finish Pedals, exclusive badges, a soft grain leather interior with contrast stitching and 16-way heated and cooled seats with memory. Power itself will come from a standard 5.0-liter AJ-V8 Gen III engine that produces 283kW of power and 515Nm of torque. The Jaguar XK Coupe 75th Anniversary Edition will become available in Australia from late June for a starting price of AUD$193,500. [Zercustoms]
Jaguar will release a hybrid version of their sports car in 2013 or 2014. The hybrid version will feature a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine, a 35 kW (47hp/ 48PS) electric motor, and an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. When the car’s batteries are depleted, the engine will turn on to recharge them and simultaneously provide power to the electric motor. Word has it that the first hybrid is expected to be the XJ. Here’s a look at Startech’s latest styling package for the all new Jaguar XJ. Jaguar and Land Rover Korea today announced its upgraded “New Discovery 4″ in South Korea. This premium family SUV is currently available in three variants including a 5.0-liter V8 engine, a 3.0-liter TDV6 engine and a 2.7-liter TDV6 engine. The price ranges from 74,900,000 Won ($64,543) to 94,900,000 Won ($81,778), depending on the model. [AVING]
Arden has released a teaser image of the new Jaguar XJ modification kit. The Arden XJ 351 tuning kit will include a new front spoiler, new angled side sills, a retuned engine, a new powertrain, a new exhaust kit, a new suspension and 21-inch alloy wheels. [EasyCarBlog]
