
Lexus has confirmed that they will be showcasing their newest hybrid concept car ‘LF-Gh‘ at the upcoming 2011 Australian International Motor Show in Melbourne (July 1-10). The car will line-up alongside the LFA supercar and the rest of the Lexus range. Stay tuned for more updates. [Car Advice]

The Monaco Royal Couple has chosen one of the most high-tech and environmentally friendly limousines available, the Lexus LS 600h L. Prince Albert II will marry Charlene Wittstock on July 2, 2011. He is a high-profile advocate of green vehicles and has pushed Monaco to develop a mobility plan with lower environmental impact. The car will take the newlyweds on their tour through the streets of Monaco after the ceremony and promises to operate in zero-emission electric mode for more than 85 percent of the parade. Lexus will introduced the LF-Gh (Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid) at the New York International Auto Show from April 20 – May 1, 2011. According to the company, the new concept explores Lexus’ future direction – global design identity evolves – while its aggressive and bold “spindle” front grille hints at the new face of Lexus vehicles. Lexus has unveiled the full specification of the Lexus LFA Nurburgring. The sports car will have its world debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March 2011. The supercar is powered by the standard LFA 4.8-liter V10 engine that has an increased output of 562bhp. The Lexus LFA Nurburgring is able to get from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in only 3.7 seconds. The Lexus LFA Nurburgring also features additional aerodynamic elements, a 10mm lower suspension system and improved brakes. Priced at $375,000 each, the Lexus LFA Nurburgring will be available in a limited quantity of 50 units. [ZerCustoms]

Lexus has showed off a new model of its CT 200h hatchback called the CT 200h F Sport. Showcased during this year’s Australian International Motor Show, this compact hybrid comes with a new set of sporty bumpers, graphite-finish alloy wheels and Flame Blue paint for the exterior. Inside, the car receives a sporty steering wheel, aluminum pedals and new instruments in the panel. As for the engine, it remains the same as the previous model. See more pictures after the break.
