Here’s the first video from Daimler showing the new 2010 Mercedes E Class Estate in both static and dynamic shots. For your info, the car is equipped with a 5.5-liter V8 engine that is capable of producing up to 388 hp. LG Display has signed a deal worth millions of dollars with Continental AG for the supply of 30,000 sheets of LG Display’s 5.8 inch and 7.3 inch LCD panels on a monthly basis to Mercedes Benz which will be used for new E-class sedans. The panels provided by LG Display are high-end products with light-emitting diode backlight bulbs. The 5.8-inch model will be used in low-end models of the E-class, while the 7.3-inch panels will be attached to premium models. The New E-Class will be going on sale in South Korea from next month onwards. [Korea Times]

Lorinser has released the LV8 tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class 63 AMG. This new package includes a new set of wheels, a new exhaust system, a new spoiler, bumpers and side sills. The engine also gets some upgrades, with their new system the car is pushed to 368kW with a maximum torque of 630Nm. 0 to 100 km/h can be reached in just 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 320 km/h. Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Grand Edition of their CLS-Class four-door Coupe. This new car comes with several new features including a tweaked diesel engine, a power upgrade of 48hp, a 50Nm increase in torque, 18″ AMG alloys, more stylish front grille louvres and headlamp housings, and five new color options.
