
Daimler will release 500 units of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class E-Cell vehicles in early 2011, which will use battery packs and power electronics sourced from Tesla Motors. The company will release more details about the A-Class E-Cell vehicle in mid-September at the Paris Motor Show. This electric vehicle should be good for about 124 miles on a single charge. Autocar has rolled out a new review video of the Mercedes E63 AMG, showing the estate model. To remind you, the car is equipped with a 6.3-liter V8 engine that outputs 525 hp and 630 Nm of torque. 0-60 mph comes in just 4.5 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited at 155 mph. Expression Motorsport has unveiled their newest styling package for the Mercedes CL65 AMG. The car gets a new aerodynamic kit which includes a new front bumper with integrated LED daytime running lights, larger air intakes, new fog lights, wider fenders and new side skirts. Meanwhile, the rear part of the car receives a new diffuser with a re-designed bumper and a discreet boot lid spoiler. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. More»

Tuner Kicherer has recently released its new visual and performance package for the new 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Known as the Black Edition, the Kicherer-modified 2011 SLS AMG features a matte black exterior, a front spoiler lip, a restyled rear diffuser and 20-inch RS-1 wheels. Other upgrades include an adjustable sports suspension and matte black exterior trims (getting rid of the chrome). Kicherer is also offering some power upgrades such as a revised ECU and a stainless steel sport exhaust system. [egmCarTech]

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the new prototype of Mercedes-Benz SLS E-Cell. This eco-friendly car is powered by a unique electric motor that produces a powerful 526hp and 649ft-lbs of torque. It is capable of revving as high as 12,000rpm. Other luxurious items include LED headlights, 19-inch wheels up front, and 20-inch wheels at the back. Sadly, there is no info on pricing at this time. German tuner Prior-Design has showed off their newest styling package for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211. This new aerodynamic kit includes a buffer with plastics grille, fog lamps and lateral ventilation openings at the front, a set of side skirts, a new diffuser-look front bumper, tailgate and roof edge spoilers.
