Nissan is preparing to unleash their newest city car into the market. Called the 2011 Micra DIG-S, this fuel-efficient car is powered by a new 1.2-liter three cylinder supercharged petrol engine (w/ either a 5-speed manual or advanced CVT automatic transmission) that produces a total of 98PS. Other highlights of the car include direct injection, valve timing control with eco mode, improved exhaust gas recirculation, specially shaped pistons and a higher compression ratio. The 2011 Nissan Micra DIG-S is scheduled to hit the market on September 1st for 11,150 GBP (about $18,200). [AR]

Nissan is preparing to unleash the new 2011 Nissan Murano facelift in Australia in September. Available in two different trim levels: ST and Ti, this updated model comes with a new front grille, bumper and headlight design, fog lamps, roof rails and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Under the hood, power comes from a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine that produces 191kW of power and 336Nm of torque. Nissan has recently released the two-wheel-drive version of its X-trail compact SUV in Australia. Available in two different trim levels: ST and ST-L, this compact SUV is equipped with a 136hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired to either a manual or CVT automatic transmission. The sedan will have its world premiere at the 8th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition before going on sale on the Chinese market.
