Porsche is preparing to unleash another special edition car ‘Porsche Cayman S Black Edition’ into the market. Limited to just 500 units, this mid-engine coupe is equipped with a 3.4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine that produces 330 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque. Performance-wise, the car has a top speed of 279 km/h (w/ manual transmission) or 277 km/h (w/ PDK), and is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds (w/ manual transmission) or 5.0 seconds (w/ PDK). According to some reports, Porsche is planning on showcasing the all new Panamera Turbo S at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show next month. Although it’s not official yet, the car should go on sale soon after, with first cars arriving at dealerships in early summer. For your info, the Panamera Turbo S is powered by a twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8 engine that outputs 550 hp and over 800 Nm of torque. Porsche has recently announced that dealers around the world will begin taking 918 Spyder customer orders. The 918 Spyder will feature a high revving 500-plus horsepower V8 engine assisted by two electric motors with a total of at least 218 horsepower. This supercar will consume only 3.0 L/100 km based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). To ensure the 918 Spyder’s worldwide exclusivity, Porsche will produce no more than 918 examples. Porsche will start the production of 918 Spyder at Porsche’s famed factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen on September 18th, 2013.
