Volkswagen is set to introduce its new Polo 3-door at the upcoming 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car will be offered in three different equipment levels including Trendline, Comfortline and Highline. While the engine itself will be available in six different choices with output ranging from 59 hp to 104 hp. Volkswagen of America today announced that they will recall 13,500 cars including Jetta, Jetta SportWagen, GTI, and Eos that were built between September 2008 and August 2009. These car are equipped with the DSG transmission. There is an issue with a temperature sensor in the dual clutch transmission. In the coming weeks, owners of the affected cars will be contacted by Volkswagen of America to schedule an appointment at their local dealer to have their car inspected, and if necessary, have the car repaired. German carmaker Volkswagen has expanded its Sportline van range with the all new Transporter Limited Edition X for the British market. Limited to just 150 units, the van features chrome and black ‘Dakar’ alloy wheels, ‘leather pack’ (leather steering wheel and gear lever), specially designed black and blue leather seats with limited edition numbered tag, Sportline floor mats and rear parking sensors. VW has launched its new seven-seat compact MPV ‘Volkswagen Touran Match’ for the British market. Available in both petrol and diesel engines (mated to a six-speed manual gearbox), this new MVP features 16-inch alloy wheels, a matt front grille, smoked lens covers for the front and rear lights and 65% tinted glass from the B-pillar back.
