The all new 2011 VW Touran has just been showcased at the Leipzig Motor Show. The car uses the same design as found in Polo, Golf and new Touareq, which includes a new front grille, front and rear bumpers, alloy wheels and chrome-edged rubbing strips. Under the hood, there are 2 different engine options available including the petrol line-up: a 1.2-liter TSI with 105 PS and a 1.4-liter TSI with 140 PS, and the diesel line-up: a 1.6-liter TDI with 90 or 105 PS and a 2.0-liter TDI with 140 or 170 PS. Here is the first teaser photo of the all-new Volkswagen Sharan MPV that will be debuted at Geneva Motor Show. The all new Polo GTI has been recently unveiled by Volkswagen. This compact car features a new front bumper, new headlight units and a new rear bumper that features a small diffuser and a pair of chrome-tipped exhausts. Underneath, power comes from a supercharged 1.4-liter TSI engine coupled to a seven-speed, twin-clutch DSG gearbox that is capable of producing 178 hp at 6,200 rpm and 184 lbs ft of torque from 2,000 rpm. Meanwhile, top speed is rated at 142 mph and 0 to 62 mph can be reached in just 6.9 seconds. The Polo GTI will arrive in UK this summer for around £18,000 (about $27,846). More»
Volkswagen today announced that it is accepting orders in the UK for the most economical variant of the supermini, the Polo BlueMotion. The price starts at £14,445 for the three-door model and at £15,045 for the five-door model. The new version of Polo BlueMotion is powered by a new 1.2-litre TDI three-cylinder common rail diesel engine generating 75hp and 133lbs ft (180Nm) of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 13.9 seconds and has a top speed of 107mph. [Test Driven]

Just a quick reminder, the Golf R is equipped with a 2.0-liter TSI four-cylinder engine with 270 PS and 350 Nm of torque.
