BMW i3 Introduced In Australia

BMW has introduced their latest full-electric vehicle ‘BMW i3′ in Australia. To be available as both a pure electric and with a range extender, the full-electric BMW i3 is equipped with a 50kg electric motor that is mated to a high-density lithium-ion batteries located on the floor (125kW of power / 250Nm of torque). Performance-wise, the car has a top speed of 135km/h with 0-100km/h in 7.2 seconds. The BMW i3 will be available in Australia from mid 2014. [CarAdvice]
