Honda Extends Airbag Recall To 440,000 Cars

Honda today announced that they are expanding an earlier recall of Accord, Civic and Acura TL vehicles over a faulty airbag inflator that could send shrapnel through an inflated airbag. The recall now affects a total of 440,000 vehicles. Several injuries have occurred as a result of the defective airbag inflator.
