Nissan LEAF Is Sold Out For 2010

by Joe on May 31, 2010

Nissan has received 19,000 pre-orders for the LEAF all-electric vehicle, making it sold out for this year. The demand has exceeded expectations and the company may have to temporarily stop taking reservations. For your info, the pre-order for the LEAF began in April 2010 in the U.S. and Japan. This medium-size hatchback comfortably seats five adults and has a range of more than 160km (100 miles) to satisfy real-world consumer requirements. The Nissan LEAF will be launched in North America, Europe, and Japan in late 2010. [EcoGeek]
