Nissan Leaf To Be Released In Japan

Nissan today announced the availability of the Nissan Leaf for the Japanese market. This electric car will be available throughout Japan on December 20th, 2010. The Leaf is powered by laminated lithium-ion batteries, which generate power output of over 90kW, while its electric motor delivers 107 hp and 280Nm of torque. The car has a driving range of more than 160km (100 miles) on one full charge. Watch the video after the jump.
