Nissan Murano Receives New 190HP Diesel Engine

Nissan Murano Diesel

Nissan is ready to launch the new Murano that uses Diesel engine with a six-speed automatic gearbox in Europe. Nissan uses a 2.5-liter dCi four-cylinder diesel that produces an overall output of 190-horsepower and 450Nm or 332 lb-ft of peak torque. The new Nissan Murano 2.5dCi will be released in September 2010. [Zimbio]

That’s what I’m talking about – we have diesel tech, let’s use it and save a few barrels of oil, huh? Audi showed us it can perform, so let’s see some of this in the US already.

As far as reliability and cost of ownership murano will stand out. The top of the line nissan murano is LE not SE.
