
The all new 2013 Honda CR-Z is now available for purchase in Australia. This two-door hybrid comes with larger 17-inch alloy wheels, revised front and rear bumpers, a new grille, rear LED taillights and a diffuser. Under the hood, power comes from a combination of a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine (w/ either a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox) and an electric motor that produce a combined 136 hp and 190 Nm of torque. Mercedes-Benz has introduced their latest four-door coupe sedan at this year’s New York Auto Show. Called the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG, this high-performance compact sedan is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine (w/ a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission) that generates 265kW and 450Nm. Performance-wise, it has an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h and can sprint from 0-100km/h in 4.6 seconds. [Car Advice]

Toyota has showcased the all new 2014 Toyota Highlander at this year’s New York Motor Show. Available in both front and all-wheel-drive configurations, this third generation mid-size SUV comes with a trapezoidal grille, wrap-around headlamps, bold fenders and a newly styled rear liftgate. Under the hood, the car is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 dual VVT-i engine that is coupled to a six-speed ECT-i transmission. [AR]

Check out this new styling and performance packages for the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG by German Special Customs. Called the ‘Stealth’ project, the car receives a new front bumper with built-in LED daytime running lights, a redesigned hood with air vent, different side skirts and fenders, four-pipe exhaust, along with a new rear bumper that has a carbon fiber diffuser and side air outlets.
