Aston Martin has confirmed that they will release the Toyota iQ-based Cygnet in 2011. The Cygnet is Aston Martin’s answer to increasingly stringent fuel economy and emissions standards. It is powered by a 1.33-liter petrol engine with 97hp (72kW / 98PS) and 91lb-ft (123Nm) of torque. This should enable the car to get a combined 55 mpg (UK) and emit 120 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Aston Martin has launched the Special Edition V8 Vantage N420 that features a standard 4.7-liter V-8 engine with a six-speed manual or optional Sportshift automated manual transmission. This configuration produces a 420 horsepower and a top speed of 180mph. The new Aston Martin Special Edition V8 Vantage N420 also features a graphite finish exterior designs, leather or Alcantara trim, special N420 sill plaques and lightweight carbon fiber seats. Here’s a look at the upcoming 2011 DB9 Facelift from Aston Martin. Available in two different models: Coupe or Volante (convertible), this sports car comes with a new front bumper, a bright finish grille, a revised lower air intake, new headlights, restyled side sills, silver brake calipers and a set of 20-inch wheels. Inside, the car gets a Bluetooth system, new ‘Double Apex’ trim and a Bang & Olufsen audio system. Underneath, power comes from the same 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 350kW and 600Nm of torque. Aston Martin has confirmed the availability of the V12 Vantage in the United States market. The V12 Vantage is now available to order with deliveries to begin in the fourth quarter of 2010. As a reminder, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage is powered by a 6.0L V12 engine making 510-hp with a peak torque of 420 lb-ft. The car runs from 0 to 62mph in just 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 190mph.
