Aston Martin has released the first official images of the Cygnet, the company’s new luxury commuter concept car. Based on the Toyota iQ concept, the Cygnet will feature the same 1.33-liter petrol engine found in the IQ. The car itself is expected to enter production around 2010. Stay tuned for more updates. The new Aston Martin Rapide four-door sports saloon will be released in the UK in the first quarter of 2010 with prices starting from £139,950 ($232,800). The Rapide is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine with 6-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transmission that produces 477-horsepower and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of peak torque.
