
BMW has revealed the facelifted version of its X6 M. This crossover comes with a revised grille and new LED-infused headlights. Under the hood, this all-wheel drive vehicle is equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine (w/ a six-speed M Sport automatic transmission) that outputs 555 hp and 680 Nm of torque. BMW has decided to recall seven models of the Mini series built between 2007 and 2011. The carmaker is recalling 235,535 worldwide, including 88,911 cars in the U.S. The recall is due to the problem in the electronic circuit board that controls the electric auxiliary water pump, which cools the engine’s turbocharger. This water pump failure can overheat, causing a fire. The faulty water pumps will be replaced free of charge. [LA Times]

BMW has finally revealed the US pricing for their upcoming ActiveHybrid 5. Announced at this year’s Detroit Auto Show, the ActiveHybrid 5 will hit the road in late spring for a MSRP of $61,845. Based on the 535i, the ActiveHybrid 5 is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine that generates 306 hp and 400 Nm, paired to an electric motor that outputs 55 hp and 210 Nm. [Autoevolution]

BMW has unveiled the new 6 Series Gran Coupe, which is a competitor to the Mercedes CLS and Audi A7. The coupe will be available in three variants such as a 3.0L 315 hp Twin Turbo V6, a 4.4L 415 hp Twin Turbo V8, and all wheel drive “xDrive” model with the 4.4L 415 hp Twin Turbo V8.
