Cadillac has released a new commercial video for the 2014 Cadillac ELR. The video introduces the user to the plug-in hybrid’s Chevy Volt-sourced powertrain and its innovative Regen On Demand system. To refresh your memory, this plug-in hybrid is equipped with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor that outputs 207 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. Watch the video after the break. More»

2014 Cadillac ATS Crimson Special Edition

Check out this recently unveiled 2014 Cadillac ATS Crimson Special Edition. Coming in a Crimson Red Metallic paint job, the car is equipped with a decklid spoiler, a new air splitter, a new rear diffuser, aero-optimized blade moldings and a set of 18″ forged aluminum wheels with a Dark Silver Finish. As for the engine, it comes with either a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit with 273HP or a 3.6-liter V6 with 322HP (available in both rear- and all-wheel drive configurations). 2011 Cadillac Ciel Concept

The 2011 Cadillac Ciel Concept features a hybrid system pairing a lithium-ion battery with a twin-turbocharged, 3.6L V6 engine. Pronounced as “C-L”, which translates to “sky” in French, the Ciel is a four-seat convertible tourer that completely blows the lid off of Cadillac’s new design language, taking it to a level that we’ve never seen before. The concept car has four full-sized doors with suicides in the rear, a polished aluminum windshield frame, an interior borne of body-colored panels, wood, and leather, 22-inch rims featuring brushed nickel plating overtop milled aluminum, carbon ceramic brake rotors, LED lighting elements, and a power-assisted transmission shifter.
