
Chrysler will launch five major “facelifts” of key vehicles in its lineup. Some of vehicles that are slated for redesign include the Dodge Caliber, Jeep Compass, Jeep Patriot, Chrysler Town & Country, and Dodge Caravan. The Chrysler 300 and Jeep Grand Cherokee have been redesigned for the 2011 model year and should arrive some time next year. Meanwhile, the Dodge Charger will also be restyled for 2011 release. Good news comes from Chrysler because the company has emerged from bankruptcy. They have already reopened their Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit that makes the car employs 115 people. Chrysler’s other plants remain idle. [CNN]

To celebrate Grand Voyager’s 25th Anniversary, Chrysler has introduced the Grand Voyager 25th Anniversary Edition in UK. This special edition car offers all-new interior and exterior designs. The interior equipment includes leather trimmed upholstery, dual screen rear DVD entertainment system and a GPS system with a phone and voice recognition. Meanwhile, the exterior package includes Xenon headlamps, a chrome mesh grille, LED daytime running lights, revised lower front fascia and a special paint. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has recalled the Dodge Ram and Dodge Journey due to a faulty windshield wiper motor assembly, which can allow for water intrusion.
