Citroen DS3 R3 Unveiled

Citroen has unveiled the upcoming DS3 R3 that features a roll cage, a tubular wishbone front suspension, a reinforced rear crossmember, and an advanced braking system with two master cylinders. The car is powered by a 1.6-liter THP (high pressure turbo) engine with a regulation-compliant 29mm turbo flange that produces 210bhp (157kW / 213PS) and 350Nm (258lb-ft) of torque. Here are the first real life photos and video of Citroen’s upcoming hybrid sedan ‘Metropolis‘. In case you didn’t remember, this four-door sports saloon is equipped with a 2.0-liter V6 petrol engine, an electric motor and a 7-speed, dual-clutch electronic gearbox. The petrol powerplant produces 272bhp and 375Nm of torque, but when the car uses both electric motor and the combustion engine, the combine output is 460bhp and 430Nm of torque. Citroen Metropolis Hybrid Sedan With A 2.0-liter V6 Hybrid Powertrain

Citroen has unveiled specification and teaser photos of a new “Metropolis”, which is designed by Citroën’s international design team. The car will be unveiled at next month’s Shanghai World Fair on May 1st, 2010. The four-door saloon combines a 2.0-liter engine and a 7-speed, dual-clutch electronic gearbox, with an electric motor. The V6 powerplant delivers 272bhp (200kW) and 375Nm of torque, but when additional performance is required, the car uses both the electric motor and the combustion engine to deliver a maximum power output of 460bhp (345kW) and 430Nm of torque. First Images Of Citroen AirCross

Citroen has recently unveiled the first images of their upcoming crossover ‘AirCross’. Based on the C3 Picasso, the AirCross will feature a new front grille, new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, wheel-arch extensions, roof rails, rear-mounted spare tire, alloy wheels and various new graphics. Underneath, there will be two engine options available: a 1.6-liter flexfuel or a 2.0-liter flexfuel. Citroen Showcases DS3 Yves Saint Laurent

Citroen has recently showcased a special edition version of its DS3 premium hatchback line-up at the Petit Palais in Paris on March 10th. Designed specifically for the Yves Saint Laurent, the car comes with special paint job complete with a big Yves Saint Laurent logo on the black roof. Petrol Engine Version Of Citroen C5 Released In Australia

The French car manufacturer Citroen has decided to sell its C5 model only with petrol engine in the Australian market. Priced at AU$45,990, the C5 sedan with a 2.0 liter petrol engine produces 103 kW (140 hp) and 143 Nm. The C5 2.0 16V sedan has a combined average fuel consumption of 8.9 litres per 100km. The car accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 11.7 seconds with a top speed of 126 mph (205km/h). [AutoEvolution]
