GQbyCITROEN Concept Car

The GQbyCITROEN is a new concept car that is designed in partnership between Citroen and men’s magazine, GQ. The hybrid car is powered by a combination of a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. The GQbyCITROEN should have a 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds while emissions are just 80g/km of CO2. Unfortunately, there is no info on when this car will go into mass production. [Cars UK]

Citroen DS3 Gets Pricing In France

Citroen has recently announced the DS3 price for the France market. The car will be offered in three different trim levels namely Chic, So Chic and Sport Chic, along with five different engine options: gasolines – 1.4-liter 95 hp, 1.6-liter 120 hp and 1.6-liter 150 hp, and diesel – 1.6-liter HDi with either 90 or 110 hp. Meanwhile, standard features will include ABS, ESP, 6 airbags, cruise control, MP3 player and leather steering wheel. The Citroen DS3 will go on sale in France in January for a starting price of 15,400 Euro (about $23,000). [Autoevolution]

Go Green With Citroen C-ZERO

The Citroen C-ZERO is a “triple zero” car with zero fuel consumption, zero CO2 emission and zero engine noise. This eco-friendly car is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers 47kW or 64bhp EEC from 3,000 to 6,000rpm. The Citroen C-ZERO accelerates from 0-100kph (0-62mph) in 15 seconds and 60-90kph (37-56mph) in six seconds and has a top speed of 130kph (80mph). All-Electric Citroen C1 ev'ie Launched In Britain

UK-based Electric Car Corporation Plc. (ECC) has officially launched an all-electric version of the Citroen C1, the C1 ev’ie. The 4-seater electric car offers a range of 60-75 miles when fully charged and a top speed of around 60 mph. Its Li-ion battery pack can be fully charged in 6-7 hours from a domestic 13 amp socket. The car will be available in three and five-door models, and the ECC is hoping to build around 500 ev’ies in the first year. The C1 ev’ie is priced at £16,850 or about the equivalent of $25,000. C-Crosser Exclusive PSP Edition

Citroen has teamed up with Sony to launch a special edition C-Crosser Exclusive PSP Edition. The car will come with a black PSP Slim, two games, 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo and a mount in the back of the front-seat headrest for the PSP. The car itself is based on the 160 HDi FAP version that comes equipped with Xenon headlamps, automatic air conditioning system, ESP, Bluetooth hands-free phone capability and a NaviDrive navigation system.
