2012 Volkswagen Beetle Gets Pricing In The UK

The all new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle has just been priced in the UK. This compact car comes in three different trim levels including Beetle, Design and Sport, and has two different engine options: a 1.2-liter TSI with 105PS mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox and a 1.4-liter TSI with 160PS mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Prices ranging from 16,490 GBP (about $26,000) for the entry-level Beetle 1.2-liter TSI 105PS 7 spd DSG model and goes up to 21,220 (about $33,500) for the top of the range Sport 1.4-liter TSI 160PS 6 spd manual model. Here are the first images of the third generation Toyota Yaris. This fuel-efficient vehicle will be available in three different engine options including a 1.0-liter VVT-i petrol, a 1.33-liter dual VVT-i petrol and a 1.4-liter D-4D diesel. Fiat Punto MyLife

Fiat has showed off another special edition car in Italy called the Fiat Punto MyLife. This compact car comes in two different body styles including a 3-door and a 5-door models along with three different engine options: two petrol (1.2-liter with 69 hp or 1.4-liter with 77 hp) and one diesel (1.3 MultiJet 16v with 75 hp). The car has also received Piano Black inserts on the front bumper, door handles and side mirrors, darkened headlights and tail lights, and various Piano Black styling accents at the rear. Audi A1 Gets Pricing In Australia

The upcoming Audi A1 has just been priced for the Australian market. This compact car will come in two different models including the A1 1.4 TFSI Attraction 6-speed manual and the A1 1.4 TFSI Ambition 6-speed manual. Both models will also come with the option of a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission. Meanwhile, safety features will include six airbags and ESP stability program with electronic limited slip differential as standard. The Audi A1 will go on sale in Australia from early next year for a starting price of AU$29,900 (about $29,500). [Autoevolution]

Alfa MiTo 1.3 JTDM-2 Hits UK

Alfa Romeo has unleashed the all new Alfa MiTo 1.3 JTDM-2 for the British market. The car is available in three different trim levels namely Turismo, Lusso and Veloce, and equipped with the second generation 1.3-liter MultiJet engine (95 hp) that complies with the Euro 5 emissions legislation. In terms of performance, the Alfa MiTo 1.3 JTDM-2 has a top speed of 112 mph and is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 11.6 seconds. price starts at £13,995 OTR (about $21,400). The all new Nissan Micra has been unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Built on Nissan’s new V-platform, this compact car is available in two different engine options, a naturally aspirated 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol producing 80 hp and 108 Nm of torque or a turbocharged version of the same engine with direct injection that outputs 98 hp and 142 Nm of torque. These engines are coupled to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or Nissan’s all-new Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Other features of the car worth mentioning include a new parking space measurement system, a touch-screen navigation and audio system and a glass roof. The Micra is scheduled to go on sale in Thailand in March and in Europe in November. More»
