Audi has unveiled their new Audi Q5 Custom Concept at this year’s Worthersee event in Austria. This custom concept car is powered by a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 engine and capable of producing 408 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to either a quattro all-wheel-drive system or a 7-speed S-tronic transmission. 0-100 km/h can be reached in just 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. Designed by Ryan Skelley as a part of final year project of Conventry University’s design course, the Sunbeam Tiger Concept is a lightweight, 2 seater sports car inspired by the 1920s Sunbeam Tiger speed record car that uses eco-friendly materials. The car is powered by an electric powertrain with a lithium-titanate battery pack. According to Ryan, the car goes from 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds with a top speed of 160 mph and a driving range of about 800 miles between charges. More»
Toyota has unveiled the Scion IQ concept at the New York Auto Show yesterday. The car looks similar to the Toyota IQ city car now on sale in Europe. The IQ is billed as a 3+1, which means it could carry three adults and a child, or some luggage. The car itself is powered by a 1.3-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that develops 93 horsepower and 89lb-ft of torque. No word yet on if this will go into production. More»

The eMX (eco-Motoring Experience) is the new concept car from Samsung Motors that was recently unveiled at 2009 Seoul Motor Show. The car features a modern 2.0L turbo engine, a plethora of advanced safety and eco-friendly technologies.
