Honda will introduce their new EV-N concept at the Tokyo Motor Show next month. This retro-styled small city car is powered by a lithium-ion battery that can be recharged by its solar panels. Other interesting features include swappable seat fabrics, Honda’s U3-X personal mobility device in the front passenger door and an embedded communication system in the front fascia. The Volkswagen L1 concept has been unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. This amazing concept car’s body is composed of lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum which allows it to achieve an amazing 189-miles per gallon. The car is powered by a diesel-electric hybrid engine, which is capable of a top speed of 99-miles per hour. The company has planned to release the L1 within three years. [AVING]

Lexus has recently introduced their latest Lexus LF-Ch concept at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The coolest part of this concept car is the rear seat headrest-mounted iPhone docks. In addition, the car also has storage in the rear seat armrests for small items such as iPods, PDAs and cell phones.
