The 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo has been unveiled at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. It is a main competitor to the Volkswagen GTI, Honda Civic Si and Mini Cooper S. The car is powered by a 1.6L four cylinder engine with a six-speed manual transmission that produces 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo also features 18-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lamps, a 7-inch multifunction touchscreen display, Pandora Internet radio capability, Bluetooth audio streaming and a 450-watt Dimension Premium Audio system with a subwoofer. BMW has unveiled the new 6 Series Gran Coupe, which is a competitor to the Mercedes CLS and Audi A7. The coupe will be available in three variants such as a 3.0L 315 hp Twin Turbo V6, a 4.4L 415 hp Twin Turbo V8, and all wheel drive “xDrive” model with the 4.4L 415 hp Twin Turbo V8. The 2013 Volkswagen CC will be debuted at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. The four-door sedan features Bi-Xenon headlights with a unique Adaptive Front Lighting System that directs light according to the steering wheel. The new Volkswagen CC also has LED tail lamps. Hyundai has issued the first teaser image of the 2012 Genesis Hurricane SC coupe. The carmaker has joined with Magnuson Products, Rhys Millen Racing, Harman International and Torvec Inc. to customize this new coupe. The Hyundai Genesis Hurricane SC is powered by a powerful 3.8 liter V-6 engine with a liquid to air inter-cooler, producing a total output of more than 450 HP. The car also features a revised front grille, a carbon fiber hood, new bumpers, LED headlights, a rear diffuser and 19-inch Enkei wheels wrapped in Hankook tires. Hyundai has finally announced the UK pricing for their upcoming 2012 Hyundai Veloster Coupe. Coming in both Standard and Sport trim levels, the 2012 Veloster Coupe is equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder GDI petrol engine (w/ either a 6-speed manual or dual-clutch gearbox) that produces a total of 140PS. Prices will range from 17,995 GBP / $28,460 (OTR) for the entry-level Veloster 1.6GDi 4-door model and goes up to 21,745 GBP / $34,390 (OTR) for the top of the range Veloster Sport 1.6GDi 4-door DCT model.
