
Hyundai has officially announced that the Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec will be exhibited at next month’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Based on the 210 horsepower 2.0T Track model, the R-Spec features a track-tuned suspension, 19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes and a limited-slip differential. Available in Karussell White, Bathurst Black and Tsukuba Red, the R-Spec is priced at $23,750, which is around $3,000 less than the standard Track model. [LeftLaneNews]

Carlsson has unveiled its latest tuning package ‘CK50′ for the brand new Mercedes E500 E-Class Coupe. The new kit includes a new front lip spoiler, new side sills and a new rear lip with integrated exhaust system and air diffuser. Meanwhile, the engine gets a power upgrade from 388 hp and 530 Nm to 435 hp and 600 Nm of torque. The car is also equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Dunlop tyres measuring 235/30. Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the Grand Edition of their CLS-Class four-door Coupe. This new car comes with several new features including a tweaked diesel engine, a power upgrade of 48hp, a 50Nm increase in torque, 18″ AMG alloys, more stylish front grille louvres and headlamp housings, and five new color options. German tuning house G-Power has upgraded the BMW M3 Coupe Tornado with their new supercharger system. Using a moderate 0,3 bar boost, the output of the V8 engine is pushed from 420 hp to 500 hp and the torque increases from 400 Nm up to 480 Nm. 0-200 km/h can be reached in just 13.5 seconds (standard M3′s time: 15.8 seconds) with a top speed of 320 km/h. The all-new 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Class Coupe will soon make its world debut at the upcoming 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The range of engines available for the new E-Class Coupe comprises four, six and eight-cylinder units. The four-cylinder engines are newly developed direct-injection units, which develop a higher output and torque than the comparable V6-engines of the preceding series despite a smaller displacement. Kicking off the lineup is the E250 CDI four-cylinder diesel, which has an output of 200hp (150kW) and 369lb-ft (500Nm) of torque. It is the most fuel-efficient engine in the lineup and is rated at 44mpg (5.3L/100km). This is joined by a 200hp (150kW) four-petrol with 229lb-ft (310Nm) of torque. Moving up the ladder is the E350 CDI, which sports a 228hp (170kW) and 398lb-ft (540Nm) V6 diesel, and a E350 CGI petrol V6 with 288hp (215kW) and 270lb-ft (365Nm) of torque.
