Mazda Recalls More Than 52,000 Tribute Crossovers

Mazda has decided to recall a total of 52,390 Tribute crossover (2001 – 2002 models). The recall is due to a possible brake fluid leak and a potential fire hazard. The carmaker will notify owners. Dealers will replace the vehicle’s brake master cylinder reservoir cap and modify the ABS electrical system for free. [Autoblog]

2013 Ford Flex

The 2013 Ford Flex will be debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The crossover is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, producing a 285 horsepower and 255 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2013 Ford Flex features the new generation of MyFord Touch. It is an in-car communication and entertainment system developed by the Ford Motor Company and Microsoft. Other features include rear inflatable belts, keyless entry, rain-sensing wipers, first-row heated and cooled seats, collision-avoidance technologies and power-fold mirrors. The carmaker also offers the new Appearance Package that consists of a two-tone roof and mirrors, leather seats, unique door trim panels and 20-inch machined aluminum wheels with painted pockets. Hyundai has finally launched the first pictures of their new concept, the Hyundai HCD-12 Curb. Designed by the company’s California Design Center, this concept car is a crossover that will probably spawn a production vehicle which will fall just below the Tucson in the company’s line-up. Saab 9-4X On Video

Here is a video that shows the new Saab 9-4X. The company has officially unveiled this crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Based on the Cadillac SRX, the 9-4X features include a wraparound windshield, a ‘hockey stick’ waistline, bi-xenon headlights, a dual-exhaust system, and 18-inch alloy wheels (20-inchers on the Aero). Powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 265 PS (195 kW / 262 hp), the Saab 9-4X accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 9.0 seconds. Saab also offers a Bose audio system, GPS navigation (with an eight-inch touchscreen), tri-zone climate control, and a rear entertainment system. Video after the jump. More»

Infiniti EX30d Gets Pricing In UK

Infiniti has finally announced the EX30d price for the UK market. This compact crossover will be available in three different trim levels including Entry-Level, GT and GT Premium. Meanwhile, power will come from a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine paired to a 7-speed automatic transmission that outputs 238 hp and 550 Nm of torque. As for the standard features, the car will come with Xenon cornering headlights, front and rear parking sensors, 18-inch alloy wheels, Scratch Shield self-healing paint, electrically adjustable front seats, power-fold rear seats, cruise control and a 7-speaker audio system with 6-CD changer, MP3 decoder, Aux-In and Bluetooth for mobile connectivity. First Images Of Citroen AirCross

Citroen has recently unveiled the first images of their upcoming crossover ‘AirCross’. Based on the C3 Picasso, the AirCross will feature a new front grille, new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, wheel-arch extensions, roof rails, rear-mounted spare tire, alloy wheels and various new graphics. Underneath, there will be two engine options available: a 1.6-liter flexfuel or a 2.0-liter flexfuel. The AirCross is scheduled to be launched in Brazil sometime in the second half of the year, however, there’s no word on pricing yet. More»
