
Dr. Dre has joined together with Chrysler to add the “Beats by Dr. Dre” audio system to the 2012 Dodge Charger. The audio system comprises of a trio of 3.5-inch speakers located in the instrument panel, a pair of 3.5-inch speakers located in the rear doors, two 6-inch x 9-inch front-door woofers, two 6-inch x 9-inch speakers and a center-mounted 8-inch speaker located in the rear-shelf area and an 8-inch Beats Audio trunk-mounted dual-voice coil sub-woofer. Dodge has announced another special edition car ‘Dodge Caliber Mopar Edition’ for the South African market. Based on Dodge Caliber, the hatchback comes with a new hood, a lowered suspension and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. Underneath, power comes from a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine that has been equipped with a cold-air induction system and a dual exhaust. Dodge has issued a new commercial video for the latest generation 2011 Charger. Inspired by the “I.Robot” movie, the video depicts a world where everything is run by computers. For your info, the new 2011 Dodge Charger is inspired by the 1960s version of the model. It features a new hood, re-designed rear lights, a flat underbody and a re-styled front fascia. Dodge has issued a teaser image of the upcoming 2013 Dodge Viper. This teaser image was taken during a cold weather testing session for the Viper’s stability control tuning. The 2011 Dodge Durango Heat is a five-passenger SUV, which is powered by a Pentastar V-6 producing 296 horsepower and good for 23 miles per gallon fuel economy. This SUV also features an aggressively-tuned suspension, a color-matched grille, 20-inch wheels, a dual exhaust and a huge 50 cubic feet of storage behind the second row of seats. Dodge has unveiled the first details about the 2011 Dodge Journey facelift. The updated model features new bumpers, a revised grille, “ring of fire” LED taillights, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The cabin is completely redesigned with a new dashboard, a revised instrument cluster, and a new steering wheel. The car is powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that produces 283hp (211kW / 287PS) and 260lb-ft (352Nm) of torque.
