RUF has developed a fully electric powered 997 prototype that features a 204hp (150kW) electric motor producing 480 lb-ft of torque. The legendary design house of Pininfarina has unveiled the B Zero electric car at Paris Motor Show. The car is claimed to offer 153 miles on a single charge with the top speed of 80mph. The electric car also comes equipped with solar panels on the hood and roof to provide an extra juice for its solid-state lithium polymer battery. The battery does not require any maintenance and has a lifespan of around 200,000 km (125,000 miles). Nissan comes back with their latest electric car concept that has been introduced at the Paris motor show. Dubbed as the Nuvu, the car comes with the solar panels on its glass roof and uses the recycled materials on its cabin. Nissan has decided to launch this electric car at Tokyo Motor Show 2009.
