
Russian carmaker Dartz today introduced their latest two-seater roadster, the MOJO. The car is powered by an unknown gasoline engine and has a unique design with a glass top that slides to the back and uncovered wheels. Dartz has also introduced the eco-friendly version of this roadster namely the JO-MOJO. The Dartz MOJO and JO-MOJO will be debuted at Top Marques Monaco in April 2012. [Auto Evolution]

Nissan has decided to release the Mobility Concept in the Japanese market. Measuring 2.34 meter x 1.19 meter x 1.45 meter, this 2-seater electric car is designed as a public transportation. Opel and Vauxhall have recently unveiled the RAK e battery-powered electric car at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Weighing only 380 kg, this two-seat electric vehicle uses a 50PS (36.5kW/ 49hp) electric motor, which is powered by a 5 kWh battery. Designed by Adriano Mudri, the Rimac Concept One is claimed to be the world’s first electric supercar. This eco-friendly supercar incorporates four electric motors that are powered by a 92kWh battery pack. This engine configuration allows the Rimac Concept One to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). Opel/Vauxhall will introduce a new 2-seat electric vehicle at the 64th Frankfurt International Motor Show. Smart will unveiled the ForVision electric concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show. Designed and developed in collaboration with BASF, the concept features organic photovoltaic solar cells on the roof that generate enough energy to power the car’s multimedia components and the climate control feature.
