
Fiat has unveiled the 500 Bicolore at Bologna Motor Show. Inspired by pop art and American cars from the 1950′s, the 500 Bicolore features a two-tone paint scheme, unique alloy wheels and a chrome interior trim. NOVITEC has rolled out their latest performance package for the Fiat Abarth 500. Known as the NOVITEC NT4-CORSE power kit, the kit consists of a special turbocharger, a more efficient fresh air supply, an optimized air-cleaner box with sport air-filter cartridge, the NOVITEC CORSE high performance exhaust system, larger injection nozzles and a special fuel pressure control. Having this new power kit under the hood, the 1.4-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine can now produce a total of 212 hp (an increase of 77 hp), allowing the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds with a top speed of 223 km/h. Fiat has released the first commercial video of their upcoming Fiat 500 for the US market. This city car is scheduled to hit US roads in January 2011. For your info, the US version of Fiat 500 will come with a 1.4-liter MultiAir four-cylinder engine and will have two different transmission options: a six speed automatic or a six-speed manual. Fiat has showed off another special edition car in Italy called the Fiat Punto MyLife. This compact car comes in two different body styles including a 3-door and a 5-door models along with three different engine options: two petrol (1.2-liter with 69 hp or 1.4-liter with 77 hp) and one diesel (1.3 MultiJet 16v with 75 hp). The car has also received Piano Black inserts on the front bumper, door handles and side mirrors, darkened headlights and tail lights, and various Piano Black styling accents at the rear. NOVITEC hits back with their latest styling and performance packages for the Fiat Punto Evo. Outside, the car gets a new body kit which includes a Novitec headlamp moldings, a new Novitec spoiler, an X-one-look hood with power domes and integrated hood scoops, side sills, a rear spoiler, a rear molding attachment and a set of either 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels. Underneath, the 1.4-liter 16V MultiAir turbocharged gasoline engine has also been tuned to deliver 160 hp and 246 Nm of torque, allowing the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds with a top speed of 209 km/h. Fiat has decided to release the limited production version of the 500 Arancia in Japan. The Fiat 500 Arancia Special Edition will be available only 300 units. The city car comes with a set of “normal” optional features from the 500 range, such as the exterior chrome package, which brings a chrome finish for the front and rear fascia, door mirrors and side window frames.
